I believe you (and your space) deserve a declutterZing!
Do you crave a functional, calm and curated environment that allows you to focus on the things you love? If so, you’ve come to the right place.
My name is Amy-Ellen, and yes, I absofruitly came up with the word declutterZing, I want you to fall in love with your space again.
I’m a professional home organizer with a passion for helping clients create functional, joyful environments.
My goal is to help you get back in control of your stuff and achieve a sense of calm in your home. Every person and space is unique, and I work hard to understand your individual needs and preferences. Whether you’re looking to rightsize, prepare for a move, or simply get more organized, I’ll work with you every step of the way to create a customized plan that meets your goals.
I bring over two decades of experience in the field of social work to each project. With that comes a non-judgmental attitude (I’ve seen everything), and boat loads of empathy.
In my spare time, I create conceptual art. So, if you’re a creative type, I understand your brain (collection of weird things and materials) and would love to see what you do!
If you’re ready to transform your living space and reclaim your peace of mind, I’m here to help. Contact me today to schedule a consultation and start your journey towards a more functional, curated environment. Together, we’ll create a plan that works for you and bring your vision to life.
Americorps brought Amy-Ellen to Seattle in 1998. After that year of service, she continued working in the field of social work as a care management assistant to older and incapacitated adults. She transitioned to organizing professionally in 2020 with Distance Decluttering (providing virtual home organizing services during the pandemic) and became a Certified Virtual Organizing Professional in the Fall of 2021. Over the years she has organized numerous spaces, working to improve functionality for clients. She believes the first step in any organizing project is decluttering.
